About Darran

My passion for the mountains really started when I was 18.  As a young solider in the British Armed Forces, I was deployed on operations to South Georgia working with the Royal Marine Commandos.
This totally inspired me and taught me so much about myself and who I am today.  I went on to complete my Mountain Leader qualification award.  I have an accredited outdoor First Aid qualification and my business is fully insured to take out groups of walkers within the UK mountain ranges.
I also provide leadership and guidance for Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) groups working on there Bronze, Silver and Gold awards.  I also have massive passion for photography so please check out my prints for sale.
I am also a current member of the Mountain Training Association (MTA).
